This is part of my animal spirit guide series. Here’s a Flying Fox that I drew. When I was little, I was so fascinated by bats. When I would go to the library, I would just check out books on bats. I would also doodle cartoon bats when I was a kid. I thought they were so cool. They’re the only flying mammals on this planet. I still think they’re cool.
As I was doing a guided meditation with some friends, a Flying Fox appeared to me in my mind. I was feeding it some fruit. When we finished the meditation session, my friend Marci told us that there would be 2 animals that would appear to each of us. She said that one of the animals would be our main animal spirit guide… that animal would stick with us for life. The 2 animals that appeared to me were a bobcat/lynx and a bat. I’m pretty sure that the bat was my main animal spirit guide.
This drawing of a Flying Fox… I did the best I could with it. The wings were a little difficult to draw. I had to draw the fingers and joints and make them look realistic enough. Yes. Bats have their fingers in their wings. The only protruding finger is their thumb. I hope my drawing looks alright.
